

Bob Blecha – President
Bob Blecha, born and raised in Chicago, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in 1974 and his Master of Business degree from DePaul University in 1976. Both degrees were for a concentration in the field of Marketing which led to a 40 year career that was focused in Marketing and Sales. 30 years of his career was in maintenance hardware distribution and the remainder in manufacturing. Personally, he married Connie in 1979 and they had three children, Brett, Scott and Kimberly. Connie’s talent in raising children and keeping a great household allowed Bob to develop his successful career. His favorite times though were spent with his family. Now retired, Bob enjoys a new relaxed life that includes two grandchildren.

Connie Blecha – Director/Treasurer
Connie Blecha was born and raised in Chicago. She is a 1979 graduate of St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN. After graduation, she was employed by Bank Administration Institute as a Research Analyst until she and her husband, Bob, started a family. Brett, their oldest son, was born in 1983, followed by their son, Scott, in 1985 and their daughter Kimberly, in 1988. Connie was a stay at home mom while her children were young, volunteering on various PTA committees and board positions at her children’s schools. She went back to work in 1996 at School District 54, first as a Reading Instructor, then as a substitute teacher. She is now enjoying retirement – gardening, traveling, Cub’s games, spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.

Kimberly Blecha – Director/Secretary
Kimberly Blecha is a 2006 graduate of James B. Conant High School where she was captain of the Poms squad, a member of Orchesis and played the clarinet in Marching Band. She is also a 2009 graduate of Illinois State University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Spanish and Sociology. After taking a few years off, she went to graduate school to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling in Art Therapy. After graduating in 2015, she obtained her Registered Art Therapy License and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. She currently works at a local therapeutic day school as a counselor for students with social, emotional and developmental disabilities. Kimberly resides in Schaumburg with her husband, loves to read Jodi Piccoult novels in her spare time and like the rest of her family, is a huge Chicago Cubs fan.

Scott Blecha – Director/Community Relations
Scott Blecha is a 2003 graduate of James B. Conant High School where he lettered in football and baseball. He is also a 2007 graduate of Illinois State University where he majored in Mathematics Education. He later furthered his education and received a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2011 from National Louis University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education in 2022. He currently lives in Wauconda, Illinois with his wife, Lori, and daughters Taylor, Alyssa and Brylee and his son Cody. Scott is a 6th-12th Grade Instructional Coach for Wauconda School District 118 as well as an Assistant Varsity Football Coach for Wauconda High School. When not teaching or coaching, Scott enjoys spending his free time traveling with his family and watching his kids participate in their various sports and activities. He is a huge Chicago Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks fan.
